Amrah Glass & Aluminium repairs and replaces damaged window glass across Arndell Park, including warehouse offices, trade showrooms and the shops around the local shopping centre. We can usually attend the same day. If a pane can’t go in straight away, we secure the opening so your site isn’t left open overnight. All replacement glass is supplied to AS 1288 and AS/NZS 2208.
Ring 0468 497 928, or text us a photo of the damage with a rough size and we’ll price it from that.
Nearly everything in Arndell Park is a business, so most of our work in this part of 2148 is commercial. Regular clients include:
Commercial glazing comes with its own pressures. A broken office window is an easy way into a building full of stock. A taped-up shopfront pane costs you customers every day it stays that way. We plan every job with that in mind.
Glass can’t be mended once it cracks through. Light surface scratches can sometimes be polished out, but a crack means the pane has to be replaced.
Repair covers everything around the glass:
Plenty of windows that leak, rattle or won’t lock need this kind of work rather than new glass.
Replacement is for glass that is broken, cracked, fogged or no longer compliant. We fit a new pane or a new sealed unit into your existing frame wherever the frame is still straight and solid. A whole new frame is only needed when the old one is bent, corroded or badly out of square.
We’ll tell you honestly which one your window needs. If a set of new rubbers fixes it, that’s what we quote. If the problem is a patio door that drags rather than a window, our sliding door track and roller repairs take care of it.
The right glass depends on where the window is and how the building is used.
Toughened glass is used for doors, sidelights and low-level panes, where people could walk into it. Aluminium and frameless entries are handled through our commercial glass door service.
Laminated glass suits street-facing offices and ground-floor shopfronts. When it’s struck, it cracks but stays in the frame, so the building stays closed until we can swap it.
Tinted and reflective glass has to be matched to what’s already there. Even a correct match can look slightly different next to glass that has weathered for years. On a prominent frontage it’s sometimes worth replacing a pair of panes so they look the same.
Double-glazed units are measured for thickness, spacer depth and sightline, then made to order.
Wired glass is still found in older factory windows and doors. It generally doesn’t meet today’s Grade A requirement for human impact areas, so we normally replace it with toughened or laminated glass.
For a closer look at glass grades and frame types, see our Sydney-wide window glazing services.
It can be. Under AS 1288, glass in doors, panels beside doors and panes within 500mm of the floor sits in a human impact zone. Those locations need Grade A safety glass. A cracked pane in any of those spots has already lost the strength it was rated for.
Work health and safety rules also expect a business to deal with hazards it knows about, and cracked glass beside a walkway or staff entry is exactly that. Before assuming your landlord will pay, check your lease. Many commercial leases put glass breakage on the tenant.
The price depends on:
Every job is quoted up front. A few photos and rough measurements are usually enough for a same-day figure. We supply tax invoices with our ABN and itemised damage reports for insurers.
Our workshop in Berala is a straight run up the M4, and our vans work across Huntingwood, Eastern Creek, Prospect, Seven Hills and Blacktown every week. Most repairs are attended the same day or first thing the next morning.
We start from 7:30am, which usually means new glass is in before your staff or customers arrive. Tinted, laminated and oversized panes can take one to three business days to cut. In the meantime we fit a board-up or temporary acrylic, then come back to install the permanent glass. After-hours call-outs are available for break-ins and anything else that leaves the building open.
While we’re there, we can also replace cracked change room and amenities mirrors. For homes nearby, damaged frameless shower screen glass can often be done in the same visit.

Do you replace shopfront glass in Arndell Park?
Yes. We replace broken shopfront and display glass. If the right pane isn’t in stock, we secure the opening the same day so you can keep trading safely.
Can you do the job before our shift starts?
Yes. We start from 7:30am, so most single panes are fitted before staff and customers arrive.
Can a cracked window be repaired instead of replaced?
No. Once glass cracks through, it has to be replaced. Repairs cover the parts around the glass, such as rubbers, seals, beads, rollers and window hardware.
Can you match the tinted glass on our office?
In most cases, yes. We identify the tint from the stamp, the edge or a sample, and we’ll tell you before ordering if the new pane might look slightly different next to aged glass.
Is old wired glass still acceptable?
In human impact areas such as doors and low-level panels, it usually isn’t. When wired glass breaks in those spots, we replace it with toughened or laminated safety glass.
Do you supply tax invoices and insurance reports?
Yes. Every job comes with a tax invoice, and we can provide an itemised damage report for your insurer.
Do you also repair windows in homes near Arndell Park?
Yes. We regularly work on houses in Blacktown, Doonside, Bungarribee and Prospect.
Which areas around Arndell Park do you cover?
Huntingwood, Eastern Creek, Blacktown, Prospect, Seven Hills, Doonside, Bungarribee, Minchinbury and the wider Blacktown council area.
