Glaziers for Blacktown 2148. 0468 497 928, open seven days, 7:30am to 6pm.
We don’t guess over the phone and we don’t charge for quotes. Send a photo of the window, a close-up of the damage and a rough size, and you’ll have a fixed price back the same day.
What changes the number: how big the pane is, what type of glass it needs, how easy the window is to reach, and whether you need us urgently.
Once you accept the price, that’s the price. Nothing is added at the end.
Smashed window, same day. We clear the glass and cover the opening so the house or shop is secure before dark.
If the replacement is a standard clear pane, there’s a good chance it goes in on that first visit. Anything cut to order, toughened, laminated, frosted or oversized, takes a few days and we come back to fit it.
Not always, and we’ll say so.
Cracked, smashed, badly scratched or cloudy-between-the-layers means a new pane. There’s no way around that.
But a window that rattles, whistles, drags, leaks or won’t lock is usually a repair. Hardened rubbers, worn seals, flat rollers, stripped winders and blocked drain holes are all quick to sort and cost far less than glass.
Ask about it when you call. We’d rather do the small job properly than sell you a pane you don’t need.
Depends where the window sits.
Bedrooms, living rooms and kitchens usually take clear glass. Doors, panels beside doors, bathrooms and anything close to the floor have to have safety glass, which means toughened or laminated. Ground floor windows facing the street are worth doing in laminated for security. Bathrooms and entries often get frosted.
If you’re not sure what you’ve got, send photos and we’ll work it out. There’s a rundown of the options on our page about fixing and replacing glass in Sydney homes.
Yes, where the window can be reached safely from inside. Tell us the floor level when you send photos and we’ll confirm straight away.
Glass high on the outside face of a taller building needs different access, and we’ll let you know that before you book rather than after.
Owners, tenants, landlords, agents and businesses.
If you rent, report it to your agent first since they usually arrange the repair. If you manage properties, we can do several addresses in one run and send photos through with the invoice.
For shops and offices, we work before opening or after close so you don’t lose trade.
Drop sheets go down and the area gets cleared. The broken glass comes out, the frame, rubbers and drainage get checked, and the new pane goes in and gets sealed. We test the window opens, closes and locks, vacuum inside and out, and take the old glass away with us.
Someone over 18 needs to be there to let us in and check the work.
