A wardrobe door only misbehaves for a handful of reasons. The bottom rollers wear flat, the top guide loosens, the track collects grit, or the frame has shifted slightly as a Sydney home settles. Once one of those goes, the door drags, tilts, rattles or lifts clean out of the channel — and the mirror panel usually pays the price soon after.
We diagnose the actual cause rather than forcing the door back into place. Rollers are swapped for load-rated replacements, bent tracks are straightened or renewed, cracked mirror panels are re-cut in safety-backed glass, and the whole unit is re-squared so it sits flush. Most jobs are finished in a single visit, with the offcuts and old glass taken away with us.

Nine times out of ten the bottom rollers have worn flat on one side, so the door no longer sits square in the channel and lifts under its own weight. Grit packed into the track and a loose top guide make it worse. Forcing the door back in usually bends the channel, which is why the fault returns within weeks unless the rollers and track are dealt with together.
In most cases yes. If the frame is straight and the rollers are sound, we measure the opening, cut a new safety-backed mirror to match and re-glaze it into your existing frame. That keeps the cost well below a full door and means the repaired panel still matches the ones next to it. Frames that are twisted or corroded are the exception, and we will tell you honestly if that is what we find.
A roller and track job on a two-door robe is typically an hour to ninety minutes. A mirror panel replacement runs a little longer once measuring, cutting and glazing are counted. Larger walk-in or four-door setups can take most of a morning. We give you a realistic time when we quote so you are not left waiting around.

Floors and lift walls are protected on the way in and out.
We fit safety-backed mirror that meets Australian Standard requirements for glazing in the home. The backing film holds the mirror together if it is ever struck, which matters in a bedroom and is what separates a proper wardrobe mirror from a cheap decorative sheet. Clear, tinted and frosted panels are available where you want something other than mirror.
Older robes are common in Sydney and the original hardware is often long discontinued, but the profiles are usually close enough that a modern equivalent fits with minor adjustment. Where a single door is beyond saving, we can rebuild it to the same dimensions and finish so it reads as part of the original set rather than an obvious replacement.
Just clear the floor of the robe and anything hanging within reach of the doors, so we can lift panels out safely and get to the track. The rest can stay where it is. We lay protection down before we start and sweep up glass, filings and track debris before we leave.
