Standard clear panes often go in on the first visit. Toughened, laminated, patterned, coated and oversized glass is made to size, which takes a few days.
In between, the window is boarded with ply, or fitted with a clear sheet if you’d rather keep the light. Nothing is left open overnight.

Can a cracked pane be repaired?
No. Cracks keep spreading, so the pane is replaced. Repairs cover seals, rollers, handles and locks.
My double glazing looks cloudy inside. What’s the fix?
The sealed glass unit is replaced. Your frame stays as it is.
Do you handle big living room windows?
Yes. Those are made to order and need two installers, so allow a few days.
Can old timber windows be re-puttied?
Yes, provided the timber is still sound. The original frame stays in place.
Do you work weekends?
Yes, seven days a week.
